About the Role
We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to design and develop advanced hydrogen and battery storage systems. You will translate high-level energy concepts into reliable, industrial-scale solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical and electrical components for energy storage systems
- Develop system integration solutions
- Collaborate with AI and software teams on system architecture
- Support prototyping, testing and industrial deployment
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering
- Experience with industrial systems or energy infrastructure
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, materials or power electronics
- Ability to work on long-term infrastructure projects

AI Engineer – Energy Optimization Systems
AI Engineer – Energy Optimization Systems
About the Role
You will build and improve ML models that forecast demand, optimize storage dispatch and integrate renewable generation across ALVA's energy stack. Close collaboration with product and hardware teams is central to the role.
Responsibilities
- Design and train models for load, price and asset optimization
- Ship production pipelines with monitoring, drift detection and retraining
- Partner with engineers to expose APIs and real-time inference paths
- Document assumptions, datasets and evaluation methodology
Requirements
- Solid Python, ML frameworks and classical time-series methods
- Experience deploying models in cloud or edge environments
- Clear communication of trade-offs to non-ML stakeholders

- Domain exposure in energy, utilities or industrial IoT

Hydrogen Systems Specialist
About the Role
Lead technical work on electrolysis, storage and safety for hydrogen pathways at ALVA. You will translate R&D results into deployable system architectures and support commissioning teams in the field.
Responsibilities
- Own process design for production, purification and balance-of-plant
- Coordinate HAZOP and compliance documentation with EHS partners
- Support vendors and integrators during FAT/SAT milestones
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical, Process or Energy Engineering
- Hands-on experience with gas handling or industrial hydrogen
- Structured approach to risk and operating procedures

- Knowledge of PEM or alkaline electrolyzer stacks

About the Role
Drive cross-functional delivery of BESS, hydrogen and hybrid sites from concept to handover. You align stakeholders, budgets and schedules while keeping safety and quality non-negotiable.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain integrated project plans with engineering and procurement
- Manage scope, RAID logs and executive reporting
- Facilitate site readiness, grid connection and acceptance testing
Requirements
- 5+ years in energy, infrastructure or heavy industry projects
- Fluency in Polish and English for contracts and workshops
- Pragmatic use of PMI or agile-hybrid practices

- Prior BESS or hydrogen construction experience
